Our 2016 Majestic 28A

We had a plan, full time RV life in a brand new RV. Life had a different plan. After the 135k loss on the sale of our house (video linked below), we thought our dream was done. We moved into an apartment, still furloughed from Disneyland, we tried to regroup.

When we began out search for an RV in 2019, we looked at everything. Class A, B, and C. We even considered the ever popular van life, then realized we just aren't that cool. We checked out RV shows, dealerships, and even Cruise America rentals. After everything fell apart, we began our search again. This time we were looking for a smaller, part time RV, one we could pay cash for. We went back to Cruise America, the RV's were serviced well, came with a warranty, and had a lot of renovation possibilities.

In October 2020, with plenty of time on our hands due to Covid lock downs and furloughs, we purchased our 2016 Majestic 28A. The renovations began, we tore things apart, painted, rebuilt, and even added solar. We had a budget, and so far we've been able to stick to it. The renovations aren't done, but then again, are renovations ever really done?
